Bitter
Sweet Honey
My
eyes opened with the scent of summer air
Clasping
my facade with the breeze so fair
As
the maple leaves sways and flares
My
honey sweet tea time reflected with care
Warm
rays brightly lit up the present sky
The
honey colored sun placed on an infinite sea
A
limitless dose of cheer as far as the eye can see
Or
is it just a thoughtless but thoughtful fantasy
Halls
and ways coated with gold
As
the sun sets, sunflowers face west
With
the bright red afternoon that divides space
Only
wishing a second for time to rest….
