Hope is Gone (Short Story) -by Mayonnaise

One day, there was a girl who wishes to be forgiven by the one she loves and the girl who made everything to be forgiven but at the end she’s not forgiven.
“Please forgive me for hurting you because I didn’t meant it” she said while crying in front of the boy but the boy didn’t care, the boy stood still and the girl said “I don’t know what is the reason why are you that angry with me and you’re telling me that I’ve hurt you” and the boy smiled, not a happy smile, the sad one “I love you, you know that. I’m scared of losing you, but what your friends did to me was not acceptable. When you saw me at the park I thought you are going to talk to me so that I went home smiling like stupid and to change clothes to look presentable to you and to your friends but when I came back your friends are laughing at me because I’m not that handsome what they are expecting, I’m not that tall what they are expecting and you know what hurts me the most? You’re joining them, and you’re denying that you like me. You didn’t talk to me. You went home not talking to me.” And the girl was shocked and left nothing to say, she’s doomed, she’s crying like hell because of what she heard from the boy. Days have passed by, the girl is always asking for forgiveness from the boy in text and in voicemails, but the boy didn’t reply. The girl asked the boy’s best friend if he’s okay and the best friend of the boy smiled fake “He’s fine, he’s happy, and you know what, you are not the reason of his happiness. He’s happy because he moved on for what you’ve done and he found the one who will take care of him which you didn’t do, the one who will love him which he didn’t experience from you, and the one who can be with him till the end.” The girl cried “You don’t know how sorry I am. You don’t know what the reason behind my cries is. You know what your best friend did to me. I’m always his second choice and never will be his first priority because he told me that “Dreams first before love but don’t be offended because I love you” and after he said that to me. I just ignored it because he told me he loves me. I don’t want to lose him because I love him but at this time I will let him go. Just tell him I love him till my last breath”
