A sinful way to regain Peace -by Mayonnaise and REMOTE

Presidential election is now fast approaching. Many aspired to be the head of this nation and one of them is Mayor Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte, one of the most controversial. He was the last candidate who declared his candidacy by substitution. Aside from that he became more controversial when he was allegedly accused by mocking the Pope and by the numerous bad words released by him. These reasons made some people doubt whether Digong can really be the rightful heir of President Aquino. For some they doubt and disapprove Mayor Duterte to be the next president mainly because of his character. If this is the case when we look back to the book of great values, which is the bible you can noticed that some men called by God to be used as instrument in bringing the Good News and helping people go back to God, these men were sinners. Some were corrupt tax collectors, some were murderers, adulterers and liars but as the quotation posted in facebook, "God does not call the qualified but He qualified those He called".

Regardless of the issues Mayor Duterte is still one of the top contenders because many believed his toughness and his credibility as public official can bring change in our nation. He was also admired of what he did in Davao City, one of the safest and fastest growing city in the country. That is why many people are rooting for him to be the next president, a president who will bring discipline and equality. Religious citizens that yearn for a peaceful country are now hesitant. Yes their country needs a leader like Digong but his harsh actions may not be suitable to lead and represent a country known world wide as good mannered On second thought, Filipinos still believe that anyone has the right to curse. And this country badly needs an Iron Fisted leader.

Let's not jump into conclusions. Let us open our minds and hearts in choosing the right leader. It is time for change and it takes a brave heart to have it.
